Besides uniKode is a freeware ie free of charge!

Note: Because Lao is not recognized byWindows -till Vista- you will have to select the Lao font of your choice while using uniKode for Lao. For example you may use the font "Lao unicode" provided with uniKode.

To use uniKode: just open the application where you want to write Lao, then after having selected the right Lao font click on the symbols and that's it!
