China Dolls - 䪹èÒ ´ÍÅÅì : (Thai: 䪹èÒ ´ÍÅÅì) These two little girls, WhaWha (Thai-Taiwanese, 1979) and Bell (Thai-Chinese, 1981) have released several albums since their formation in 1999. The China Dolls are known for their song "Muay Nee Kah" ("I Am a China Girl"). Their music became popular very quickly among teenagers, and of course, among those Chinese-looked folks. One year later, they came back again with a special album “China Guan” to welcome Chinese New Year for year 2000. This time they have united with a very famous D.J., Samapol Piyapongsiri, who is always proud of his Chinese root, and together, they had a chance to perform in Asia 2000 Music Festival, which was co-organized by Thailand and Japan. Nowadays, China Dolls are not only famous in Thailand, but they also have fans in Malaysia, Singapore and China as they perform songs in both Thai language and Mandarin (which sometimes confuses Thai fans). Well, not exactly the kind of music, but they are cute ;-p
